Hello, all.
I need a talkback solution for a voiceover studio I'm working on. I've used the Presonus Central Station Plus, but both the rack unit and remote's TB buttons wear down, introducing a lot of static and noise before finally ceasing to work.
Aside from something rock solid, I need two remote buttons, one for the engineer and one for the director.
Does anyone have any advice?
Many thanks, Tommy

Many thanks, Tommy Tommy I think Studio Technologies had something that should work for you. If not check with Markertek or BSWusa. What you want falls more in the world of broadcast rather than Recording/ MI so the reps at either of these might be able to help.

A new Apollo from RGO I'm curious to how that will solve the problem, like genuinely curious! Positively interested!

A new Apollo from RGO The talkback on my x8 is barely passable and requires extreme EQ and gain settings to not sound abrasive and distracting to the talent, and the click from pressing the button transfers through the signal which is a shame because it’s so convenient to have the button on the front of the interface. Anyone else have any success with it? What plugin settings are you putting on the Talkback channel in Console?

Doesn't the MOTU 828es also have a talkback function on the front of the unit? Anybody here ever use that? If so, is it worth a damn? (Sorry if I'm getting us off track...)

I've got an original UFX. The advanced remote unit has a talkback button that can be configured for whatever channel you want in Totalmix and works great. The newer UFX + would use the new advanced remote which is USB. If the UFX + can see two of those maybe you can just add another, run it out to the second location and set it up for the second talkback button.
