Was there ever an update since February on the 'Stam Update' thread? I feel like many are still in the dark per usual.

That lad (Josh) just doesn't get it. As they say here, "no shame"

We’ve got 4 originals. Want to send one up for a comparison?

Can I run two V72S in series to get a V76? Non-specific to the Stam, I've always wished (without knowing if it's feasible) for someone to make a dual V72 with a 'cascade' switch so whatever parts from Ch.1 are needed combine with whatever pieces of Ch.2 to make a correct V76. I’ve got a Tab-Funkenwerk V72S. The thing is a beast. I think I read that Oliver had custom wound transformers made by the same guys/schematics as the original. I stuffed it with Bowie selected NOS tubes, EF86’s I think. But then i hear the V76 is the one to have, which is essentially two V72’s cascaded together. Wondering if I can have a V76 by running my V72 channel 1 into channel 2?

It seems like an obvious mod on a good switch. Josh can you just build it in ?

...and to be honest, I think he was asking if Stam would send his v76 to test against the originals, not send his originals to Stam. (there is either a "me" or "you" missing in that sentence)

(there is either a "me" or "you" missing in that sentence) I meant if he wants he can send a unit up and I can put it through it’s paces. We have a Yamaha grand with a built in midi player so I can set 1 mic up and record the same passage on his and on each of our 4 V76’s.

You could set them up, for a vocal recording, in very close proximity to each other and pass one through the SA76 and another through an original 76. Or if you have 4 extremely close similar microphones, do the same with all 4 preamps?

A midi controlled grand piano in your room....? that gets me thinking.
