Anyone have a recommendation for good quality Kontakt Libraries of sampled workstation keyboards ? I’d like to sell some of my Yamaha, Korg workstation keyboards I have around but keep those kind of sounds on a HD without dedicating the time and skill to do the sampling myself. I’ve seen some libraries on eBay, but have heard the quality of some of those samples can be lacking compared to the hardware and don't know which ones are the good ones. Any recommendation of a good sample Co. in this area is appreciated, thanks!

Do you have NI "Komplete"? If not, that's probably a good place to start. Beyond that, there are literally hundreds of companies that do what you need. It all boils down to deciding on what you need, listening to them, and pulling the trigger. If you are more specific about your specific sound needs, I'm sure myself or others can point you some directions.

Thanks for your reply drbill, Sorry that I wasn't very clear when I tried to explain. I do already have Komplete and a bunch of 3rd party sound sample libraries I use in Kontakt. I was wondering if anyone had a recommendation of where I can get quality samples of the sound patch's from older Workstations keyboards like Yamaha ES, XS, XF, Korg M3 etc, converted to nki files for Kontakt?
I know on ebay as an example there are multiple people/co's that have made their own samples of those specific workstation patch/sounds, but I've also heard that some of the sampling jobs by some of them are found lacking compared to the hardware, leading me to wonder if anyone's had a good experience with a specific Co making quality samples of those workstations in a nki format for Kontakt?

I'm not aware of companies that sample and make libraries from the workstations themselves. Generally, IME, the quality libraries are pretty far ahead of the workstations in terms of fidelity and quality, but probably significantly more expensive as well. If I hear of workstation sample libraries I'll make a mental note and post back here. Good luck!

Thanks drbill, I know that's true and agree, though I find a hand full of samples on some of these workstations unique and useable in the context of another whole sometimes . Thanks

Sometimes you either have to make a decision to move on and away from the sound(s) or realize that you'll have to keep the instrument(s). Good luck!
