Anybody planning on going this year? I’ll be there all day on the 16th - let me know who is planning to go so we can all go bother Jeff at the CAPI booth! 🤗

Is Wednesday open to General Public? I can try to go Wednesday but most likely can't make it until that Friday.

Really looking forward to this. I've missed the LA ones due to inconvenience. So a 3000 mile trip is in order.

I’ve got work on Wednesday, but can be there up until 3:15, so I can definitely hook up with you all, as long as it’s earlier than that. . Let’s pick a time and meet at Jeff’s booth.
I’ll be there the other days as well, so if anyone wants to meet up, just let me know.

We don't do AES NYC, however, there will be something new and exciting...

Universal Audio will have a booth this year. We'll have an x16 set up previewing surround sound material from our Air Studios launch event, as well as several Apollo X stations set up for stereo music production.
Booth #314.

Cool, I love that Chandler innovates but uses classic mics as benchmarks. I wonder what it will sell for.

Interesting. So he mostly references 414s. Should we assume that's the general territory this thing is existing in?

When it returns to San Francisco I'll be there. Or when they give me an airline ticket and a hotel room.
I love AES. Why don't they love me?

AES has merged its convention with NAMM as of last year, and is doing NYC each year now.

It makes sense, for decades everybody has complained that there were to many trade shows/ conventions and AES, while the true audio show, suffered as it wasn’t a buying show.

East coast has been merged with NAB. I just wish it would go back into the hotels.

East coast has been merged with NAB. I just wish it would go back into the hotels. From a demo standpoint that would make far to much sense Bob! You should know better than to think logically 😎
