Bought this yesterday (mentioned in another thread), no brainer for that upgrade price and sounds fab. I think I only paid $1 for the Stereo Room a couple of years ago.

May I ask what other verbs your using? How will this fit within your wheelhouse of verb? I told myself recently reverb I have covered and no need for anything new.. then I picked up Waves Chambers & H Reverb.

Only this and Valhalla reverbs the last ten years or so. Sold my PCM70 when the Valhalla Room and Vintage Verb came along. I beta test for them now.
I’d wanted a real 2016 for at least a decade so when the Stereo Room plug came along for $1 I jumped on it. This new version adds a lot of great stuff. There’s something about the way the 2016 gets out of the way and blends so well with the source and mix, despite sounding quite artificial when you listen to it 100% wet.

To me,it seems well designed ? 3 classic spaces with presets and straightforward controls for tweaking the verb ? I find the complexity/ sophistication of some verb gui’s just too much for my punny little brain !

So far I'm loving this verb... I had the 2016 and sort of retired it due to too many newer "better" options but this one sounds great to me. I think im fully ditto.

Demoing it on current song ( 30 day free ), got to say its nice Seems very clean (crystalline , but not thin ?), but with that special presence that wraps around parts ? I am trying all three voices, colour me impressed for $79 ? soundcloud.com/kcatthedog/night-mood-sp2016

If I had a penny for every time I ignored this, I would have some small change and a lot more rack space.

If I had a penny for every time I ignored this, I would have some small change and a lot more rack space. I've seemed to kind of avoid this with comps and eqs, at least in part because I've acquired a good deal of hardware comps and eqs over time, especially in the current era of $300 plugins and sub-$500 hardware comps/eqs that sound pretty great. Other than some Acustica/Acqua stuff, I don't think I've even purchased a plugin comp or eq in a couple of years. Reverbs and delays? Not so much. There is no hardware proxy for the acoustics of OWS, for example. And it's also a lot easier to spend money on something that truly is a 1:1 plugin recreation of a hardware reverb box that was always 100% digital to begin with, not to mention new reverb/delay plugins that are doing their own thing and are really cool in their own right.

Understand and I was being cheeky, but first I’ll say not a single unit in my rack has a digital recreation, and having used the plugin version of the H3000 ( and others I speak of the H3K because it was the biggest disappointment and the one I really wanted to work), close but I have to say it’s not a H3000 a good part of that sound, the sound I want are the crappy AD / DA and the analog stages. The heavy lifting of what it does may be the same, but not all the color is! I want to love plugins I try and try again and keep finding myself disappointed. I would have a lot more money and space if they did the job as well.

The drums are logic drummer, still just sketching in the song though so other than the normal labelling of the arrangement, a little editing of the regions, they are one of the set kits/drummers. Plus eventide on the bus.

As much as I don’t need more verbs, this one sounds fantastic and covers different territory. I bit the bullet and got it. Sounds killer
