Charlies Shaw (“2 Buck Chuck”) is fine. It’s $2.99 now and if you head down the aisle a little bit you can get Chilean and Spanish wines that smoke it for not much more. recommendation on those?

Not specifically I'm afraid. And it changes from year to year. I just make a habit of trying a lot of it each year and there are always some gems. For like $4-$6. When I find one I buy a case or two of it. My wife's family does blind wine tasting every Christmas when we're together. They're big into wine (they've put in a vineyard on their property there - not just a hobby, they sell several tons to very good local wineries each year) and there will always be 2 or 3 really heavy hitters (usually PNW stuff since that's where we live and this region now produces wine as fine as anywhere in the world) and then a bogey, budget wine. It's sometimes shocking how well the budget stuff does, when it's blind. One continual contender is Columbia Crest Grand Estates Cab Sauv. Regularly places right up there with the big boys that cost 10x as much. I buy it buy the case now. It's like $9-10 a bottle. The relationship between cost/quality in the wine world is anything but linear in my experience.

Its killing the competiton prices. And thats the reason why I wont buy it. It will kill warm audio etc. Do you shop at Wal Mart? Target? Etc.? Wal-Mart? Never. Target? Rarely. Etc? Not when I can help it.

How does the KT-2A sound compared to the Stam and Warm units? I have only compared the Warm WA2A to the KT-2A, not the Stam. Don't ever plan to test out the Stam. I have no interest in this company.
Why?

Don't have the foggiest. You must not like them for some reason? They eat babies? Steal money from FEMA in hurricane season? My psychic ability has been on the fritz for months.

If Stam names their next product "Two in the Bush" I will order a pair, I don't even care what it's modeled after...

Would be nice to know what the stuff is like IF you manage to get it.... used.... from somebody else....

It’s a perfect 3rd bottle! As long as the first two are quarts of Knob Creek! I was thinking the large bottles of New Glarus Door County Red Cherry😁 or maybe Reiger or Toms Town ( the Rieger and Toms Town are just down the Street) maybe Kettle One Citron or maybe some Bacardi 15 ! Hey it’s my birthday and I’m going to start drinking in an hour and 12 min!

I imagine it's because you're a dealer and you can't be a middle man for gear that is sold directly to the consumer.

Back on topic, the KT-2A can be found in several European dealers for 299 €, stock apparently arriving next month. It's probably silly, but I would never feel confident enough in the product to run the most important instrument (vocal) through it.

Almost everyone who has one says they are as good or better than the competition (save high end custom jobs or vintage) Well if I had some high end clone to compare it to, then yes, I could make my mind up. But I guess something would still bug me about running a vocal through such low end gear...

I wouldn’t say it’s low end gear. It’s low priced mid-end gear that punches well above its weight class with good nos tubes in it. I have no problem running vocals through it.
