Chris is a rare soul in the audio community and gives his work away for free. A bit of a renegade/mad scientist - in the best way. His NJAD dither is my weapon of choice.

It’s nice to have all his dithers in one plugin, but I’ll be sticking with the original NJAD for now. Ditherbox is still being a bit buggy in places (even after the new version).
NJAD hasn’t left the send to my analogue chain or the final dither after limiting and render, since it came out.

Yes, Chris is rather a kindly mad scientist. I love the way he makes me feel, that he is turning you onto a cool secret of magical proportions when he unveils a new plugin. His stuff is quirky though do the things that they are supposed to do without fanfare and written with very low overhead to CPU. I throw him some Patreon every month to help keep the home fires burning. He is a treasure with his cottonball windscreen over the capsule of his headphone microphone. I always look forward to his newest thing.
