These new Audinate AVIO adapters seem to be very cool! Having been messing around with Dante VS, I’m excited to try em out. www.audinate.com/products/devices/dante-avioA lot of guys ask to put external stand alone AD/DA boxes on a laptop, so the AVIO AES/EBU one might be a really cool option! With both 1ch and 2ch AVIO analog input and output modules, I’m betting these little guys and gals will be widely used problem solvers in the Audio bidness. Pretty good spec too. The USB AVIO adapter can run 2ch digital I/o to a Dante network. What do you guys say?

I've looked hard at Dante. Haven't made the switch, but the technology is very intriguing.

Great piece for travling Live PA engineer or even some artists. But not all halls run Dante so can't lean on that.
Dante is awesome but has its limitations. Its great for Live sound and such. recording..eh idk.
The routing is the best thing ever though. Super easy to use and its awesome how you can just pull audio from any device to another.
