Dammit, someone buy this and tell me how it sounds. I've been saving for a stereo/dual mono comp and was thinking of the buzz dbc, but this is $500 cheaper.
Any one have more info.

That's impressive...... Def from the description sounds like a EMU of the Zener. If you can find the schematics this gear isn't hard to re create....... It's all already done for you and the biggest issue is just finding good replacement parts for the obsolete's. Whoever is drawing the boards over there know's what they're doing so I definitely trust these probably sound extremely close to the Chandler version. Chandler though, they will go all the way, if it's tube rectified they elect to go that route instead of doing a much cheaper, smaller and simpler bridge diode. I would imagine the reason this unit is in a 2U unlike the Chandler 3U is because they went modern on non-signal related design.
These sound amazing on the buss..... I love taking the comp/limit out and just using them for the THD, opens mixes up and if you mix through it you'll reach less for the high shelf on individual tracks. I'd love to have my chain be my EQP's > TG > SSL Buss comp > Lavry (just barely clipped.)
Audioscape puts out some good gear, they don't cut any corners and their prices are the best I've seen for what you get. I'm a big fan of Audio-Scape.

Anyone have experience with the Chandler Zener Comp as a comparison? Is it good for tracking? I need something that sounds good on Acoustic Guitar, Vocals, Bass. Having tons of mojo is always nice as I could see myself letting it sit on my drum or guitar bus, just for the tone.

How is this only $1100?
I'd like to hear more about the guts, but this sounds very cool for the price.

Having tons of mojo is always nice as I could see myself letting it sit on my drum or guitar bus, just for the tone. I’ve used it on acoustic, vocal, and to mash up some drum room mics. It’s an awesome piece. Interesting to see how this one plays out.
