Interested as well. I came across something a while back, but I didn’t look into it. I’ll see if I can dig it up.

That Sound..... Those guys are legit. I've mixed a many of songs with Nir Z hitting those drums and that's exactly what he sounds like, so you can take it from me, you're getting some really authentic sounds when you grab from those guys, top notch. They also have some really insane sounding stuff over there too, and I love when a track calls for something kinda wacky, there is always what you need in one of those libraries.

Perhaps I'm a bit dense, but sample? You have no friends with feet?

Perhaps I'm a bit dense, but sample? You have no friends with feet? You are right ... you are dense 8) I guess so - foot stomps are the kind of easy sample that i've always enjoyed doing myself - kinda like hand claps, y'know? Who goes looking for samples of hand claps? Or maybe people do these days....
On stuff like that I've always thought you should do it yourself instead of going for a canned effect that anybody might use.
I remember watching Journey firing off a shotgun (blanks) in the hallway of The Automatt when they wanted a gunshot effect for a recording - I'm always regarded doing stuff like that as one of the fun parts of recording. When Shakin' Street wanted crowd noise for a fake live track on the album Sandy and Glenn Kolotkin took a crowd noise recording that Glenn had recorded at some sporting event, quadrupled it, and rode the faders to bring it in and out. When I wanted bar/party noise for the fadeout of a song on my first album I took my handy pocket recorder down to the local bar on a packed night, took some samples of crowd noise, stacked them, added in some clinking glasses (and a couple kazoos, just for fun) and used that. Fun stuff!
Maybe I should have been a foley guy.....

You can hear the foot stomp, and the clap sample from that free pack in context.... cheers Wiz
