I think he’s starting the shipping process at the end of the month.

I don’t believe anything at this point until the product is in my rack. Not that I don’t appreciate everyone here sharing the news, I do and thank you fellow RGO’ers. But if I were to play the odds... well...

Deep breath: after 9 months, a few weeks more gestation, seems somehow bareable ?

So the hold up was them trying to figure out how to make the product of which they had sold 500 units? ...uhhhh

I can’t look back anymore on this, just want the 2 comps here quick!! Maybe for you it’s “looking back” if your only stake are these ADG’s. But maybe for others who have other preorders, it’s “looking forward”, making it a valid question not to be tossed aside. Definitely something that makes you go “ ”

I'm pretty sure there is no prototype when offering for sale. Just nice computer generated faceplates.

In the past couple of years, has any new product shipped on time? If the answer is 'no,' that would be a good indicator that you're on to something.

So the hold up was them trying to figure out how to make the product of which they had sold 500 units? ...uhhhh Why are you surprised? I thought it was pretty clear to everyone. I believe that's stam's tactic. Grabbing the customer's deposit before other companies do and then, he develops the products. So far, I haven't seen any stam announcement with a photo of the inside of the unit. Just a faceplate.

I currently have downpayments on 6 items and do not look forward to 9-10 months delays, so we’ll see what happens over the next few weeks.
I’m routing for Josh, do want the changes he has made to have positive effect and for 2019 to be better.
It seems to me the proof will be in the pudding as each new launch has a ship date and Josh has said if he blows through those then he will reimplement some kind of major discount for compensation?
I ordered a 67 at 50% off as I do see that as major compensation and appreciate Joshua’s offer, but am mindful of his comment that that is also a big commitment on his part.
So, for me, the next month and then the next few months are very important to see the production schedule met?

I'm pretty sure there is no prototype when offering for sale. So theshea from five hours ago was wrong when he said, "yeah, something i've asked myself as well. did they have the finished working prototype last may when offering it first, or did the they need the time/delay to make it work/develope it?"?

I think this multiple circuits in one box was a lot harder to achieve then when first realized. I believe now it is working so in a way if the wait was about getting it right, then ironically I am ok with that ?
Also, glad they did as now we also have the 23a and plus to potentially buy ?
I think a larger part of the wait was shifting of resources to getting other orders done; clearing up the backlog and having all parts for each build in hand ??

You're delusional if you actually believe that.

I’m even starting to think that the delays are also another way of getting publicity. All the Stam threads are constantly being bumped by people waiting for orders. We even have a sticky on this forum!

I'm pretty sure the Stamchild went on tour as a gutless faceplate.

HA ha hardly just reading between the lines of the various posts: here and on fb and my emails to Josh.
We know they have staffed up, are addressing the backlog, are bemused by the launch of multiple new products and how this will all be managed?
So, for me the next 1-3 months are the litmus test !
