so i'm a bit of a snob with plugs. I think they mostly sound like crap.
but i tried the drawmer s73 on grand piano. I got this one free with my focusrite membership.
oh boy this plug sounds very good on grand piano. all the right amounts of subtle and nice

I have enjoyed their 1973, the more tweakable three band older brother. You can really dial in a beautiful niche for an instrument in which to sit in space as each band can have its own width, and in addition you can decide the crossover frequencies. It's a bon vivant, good time plugin for a single track, though I guess it is really a buss compressor and for sure a mastering tool to help either nudge a mix's stereo image or to wrangle in a problem child. The s73 definitely makes nice to a piano.

I suspect it will also sound good on acoustic guitar. I'll need to try that.
So now you have me thinking about the big brother because lately I've been thinking I need a solid and musical multi band plug.
