Got the full demo of this beast yesterday in a large space, where they were setting up for recording a large ensemble. We used the IO-Vector mount system to create a Decca Tree to hang three Neumann M-149, which aren't light! It is truly majestic how easy this bird can fly! From setup, to Placement, I would say it took 15 minutes of effortless operation to mount and fly the mics in good standing for the application. I was really impressed, as I have been with all the Triad options. Especially the O2X! I must own a T3 stand and one of those. Its kinda like cheatin'! If you are a mic placement magician, I cannot see how these would not appeal to hasten your workflow routine. Not even mentioning all the AV amenities that can had with these systems. I mean, everything in audio is now always attaching to video productions, and simplifying the setup for all these uses..Ipad holding, Mic holding, Laptop holding, C-stand Light Holding, Cam holding. These clamps and mounts will do it.. I strongly suggest checking this brand out if you are not familiar. Obviously, not many people using huge rooms with large ensembles these days, but there are still uses for large mic stands in the world! I have a few at the studio. Two cheap ones and two Latch Lakes. I love the Latch Lakes, but I think I need to buy some Triad's.....soon!!!

Are they available/shipping now? The couple of places I was watching still have them listed as coming-soon.

Also, in case you were wondering;
The decca tree was probably only at 10’ -11’ because we we’re not fully lifted or arched.
The SB-1 shaft fully extended is right at 9’ on the casters even without the boom, so reaching a vertical of 12’-16’+ with the swivel arch of the boom - is no problem.
The tech specs for the SB-1 are in the new products catalog and a nice visual of the stand and boom in a vertical lift next to 10’ grand piano at The Bridge studio in L.A.gives a good perspective.

I've been watching the "Stock Arriving" date on a couple of retailer sites, and it keeps incrementing every month as the estimated date gets blown by.
