Attachment DeletedAnyone know what model this is? Type? I believe it was used by the previous owners here as a talkback mic.

Are you sure it's an EV mike or just an EV stand adapter?

Are you sure it's an EV mike or just an EV stand adapter? What I've been wondering - I've never seen an EV mic like that (although I wouldn't claim to have seen EVERY one), it doesn't look like any era of EV styling I'm familiar with going back to the '50s, and I searched the usual mic reference sources without finding anything. The mic itself looks like something that might have been OEM med to console companies as a talkback that plugs into a jack on the face of a console or plugged into a gooseneck at a fast-food drivethrough, but it doesn't match anything I've known EV to sell for those purposes. A shot of the front grill might or might not be helpful.

Thanks Bob, not sure. There are no markings on the mic itself, nor any I could see inside it.

Eric, you may be right. There was a huge ham radio antenna on the house when I bought it. This mic was mounted to a beam in the control room of the studio.

Looks an awful lot like a 70s Lavalier (spelling and is that the right word?) type that hung around the preacher's neck on a thick silk rope and had 50' of mic cable attached to it.
Add some fire and brimstone, and the little neck mic quickly ended up in Pastor Jackson's hand as he thumped on it and told us Jesus was knocking at our hearts' doors.
