....I think they might soon be, due to the recent $1,200 increase in their Lil Freq EQ. I can't imagine anyone willing to pay that much for one. I have four of them from years ago and, their great... but, not 3k great.
Am I alone in this thought ?

Nope, it is just becoming harder to manufacture things at lower prices. I know Dave has redesigned things with certain pieces to keep them going.

If they're going down for that reason, then probably everyone is. Same complaints about API's price increases at the purple place. I know every time I order components for builds over the last decade prices are up significantly. Mouser online PDF went away recently because even it can't keep up with increases often enough. I can find lots of examples of raw parts I order which would go up 20-50% every time I ordered them.

Well, I guess I should thank Dave for jacking the price, now I can sell my 4 for a profit and get that GML...I've always wanted!

I was reading an article about component shortages, actually. www.advancedmp.com/electronic-component-shortage/The economy of scale for audio gear is never that of say, a raspberry pi, 12.5 million in 5 years (2017) Next year may get cheaper, but now that everything can be online, there are bigger fish to buy all the parts, that's for sure.
