I havent researched it yet, it appears its not Josh Freese. They always seem to somehow use big delays/verbs on many things at once and it works (vocals, guitars, big drum room sounds). I always end up with a muddy mess when I attempt this heavy of fx on multiple things. I use verbs and delays on multiple things, but not uber wet in your face fx.

Hm, i guess they get the separation of instruments very well, minimum masking. This makes it much easier to apply delay/reverb in a shared effect bus without producing a muddy mess... I felt much more confident adding bigger reverbs in the main reverb bus when i tried out Neutrino, iZotopes smallest Neutron brother. I really liked what it does. Nifty tools that iZotope offers nowadays...
