Not as sexy as a vintage tube mic or compressor but essential non-the-less. Bosch Solution 6000 system with IP Ethernet module and remote phone app. NVR CCTV system to follow.

Most cameras aren't wireless but are IP networked so they can accessed from anywhere. A single Cat 5 or Cat 6 carries both data and power for the cameras. As A to D video conversion occurs in the camera and is transmitted digitally from the camera to the NVR/router there are no signal quality losses as with analog coax type cameras. So your HD NVR cameras will actually record in HD instead of looking like 480p after the analog signal is degraded though 100 meters of coax. Connected the NVR recorder to a router and you can access any connected cameras from your phone anywhere on the planet.
