I have a DOD FX60, which is a pretty good analog chorus pedal. Recently, it started doing something strange...
It'll only pass signal with guitar cables half way plugged. If I plug them in completely, it cuts all signal to the amp, weather it's on or off (short circuit) but if pull input and output halfway out, it works fine. Again, this is with regular TS guitar cables.
What would cause this to happen? It's a first for me...

It's most likely broken solder joints. Open the pedal and resolder the jacks. While you're at it resolder the 9v plug and check the potentiometer legs. These kinds of faults are usually caused by mechanical stress.
