I'd say try to sell it complete but sadly people won't pay fair value and there is the shipping issue: my shipping and taxes were more than the Board !

Not gonna play, the my mixer is bigger than yours game:) My gal smiles and says my mixer is the perfect size: works for me ! I have a line on some delta stereo modules that apparently are sort of nos, pulled new some time ago and stored carefully. I bought some better alps faders that fit but don't secure properly, screws seat but don't lock fader securely in place? Maybe need longer screws, for some reason, my gal, also smiles, when I say that: nice that she is so supportive of my gear dilemmas ? No, just saying that it's not really a "big" mixer.... I have an old Yamaha PM1000 in storage (long story - it's an historical artifact) that is pretty darn large, physically, and weighs way more than it has any right to but it's still only 16x4+2 (auxes modded for ouputs, used as a stage monitor mixer), which makes it a small mixer, at least in capability. A ridiculously large small mixer - a Mackie 1604 has more capability...

You know your old when you don't consider that Yamaha 1K to be a magnificent Japanese "Neve" or "API".😎 Of course that means I'm old as well!

Uses cheap rotary pots in mechanical kludges instead of proper faders, noisy, EQ points are mostly wrong, REALLY low quality electronic parts, cardboard circuit boards, really primitive circuit design... But the acts that have had that board for their monitors..... Albert King, Jerry Lee Lewis, Dion MiMucci, The Ramones, RHCP, just scratches the surface. People have offered me good money for the modules but I won't sell - (1) it's an historical object and (2) I wouldn't take advantage of people's gullibility by selling that stuff as something worth using.

Don't remind me, it's funny how old Yammaha's have developed this cult following, when anybody who had to use them when they were new runs at the sight of them! Understand, the historic nature, I was offered the weird Hill that was the CheapTrick board many times for next to nothing, the Acts that somebody fought that thing for are countless, but sadly is just a strange very weird behaving old board! I have told the story often how Tom Blaine struggled to sell the original Smart studio's Scorpion that Butch record the first Nirvana demos on for ever till it ended up being sold for market value. Some of these old boards should be in a Museum, but sadly Museums don't get what they represent, but hey a costume Cher wore in a video for 39 frames that needs to be preserved!

kcatthedog Studio looks great! I though you were on Amphion monitors? Those look like Adams.. I could be wrong but I think monitors should be your next investment 🤠

I sold my amphions and simply bought the adam's used cheaply, my last 5 songs I actually almost completely mixed on my cans! I like the idea of the new dyn 3 way monitors but not spending 3 grand again

Well I haven’t heard much of your Amphion mixes, but this last mix you posted sounds great and a big step up from what I have heard from you. Sounds like you are really improving and catching your stride!

@chase thank you for those kind words As Ragan referenced earlier over the last while with the symphony mkii, its better DA, my wa87s and the wa412, I am just more aware of what sonically is going on? I think too that 10,000 hour thing may have kicked in. I think too I have learned not to trust my room too much, get it as right at source as I can and listen carefully the whole while ! I haven't touched Ua plug ins in like 5 mixes too, not that I think them bad but got a softube console 1 and it's 3 channel strips. I found that also helped me to appreciate the interrelationships of my mixes, but I still wondered about a real board, eq and more ob:enter the delta Thx again really appreciate your kind words !

Further along the delta: when the levee breaks well, ok, my bank account, not the levee ;0 I sold my ua plugs and octo yesterday and there was a symphony mkii 16x16 on GS at a good price so I bought it. This will let me have the dedicated 16 channels of AD DA ( same box, clock, etc.. so no issues) and all patched (inserts) to the delta 16 mono channels for its eq. I'll probably sell my symphony mkii 8x8 but it is (very) tempting to keep the module for 24 converters and be done with that

a mki or mkii?
I have an 8x8 mkii now, so can make a 24 and just sell one of the chassis.
Anybody with mki or i modules can use it and you get the touchscreen and better da on the headphones too.

It's a mkII. Didn't know if a full system would sell faster, and just install the 8x8 in your new 16x16 chassis.

Not certain I want to buy another module to sell chassis but I understand the logic!

I understand many DAW’s, except the Logic It's that complicated, that a college could start a degree program for Logic.
