Would love to know some reliable gear tech as well, Nashville or Atlanta preferably... having awful noise problems with my wa76..
Slight OT; Repair Need Info : My wa76 is having extreme noise issues. When I spoke to warm audio customer service I swear I was talking to noobs. The noob tried to tell me -18dbfs was -22 dB below +4dbu ( pro line level ) and that’s why I was having noise issues was due to my gain staging...
As shocked as I was By Warm Audio’s response, I sent a whole new email explaining gain staging sending tones out and in the Same I/o the warm was having noise problems with etc. This finally got the attention of someone And I finally got to speak with someone who was somewhat educated. They forwarded my info and email to their repair tech ( warm in Texas, repairs in New York thru RAD distribution)
After corresponding with this repair tech, going over the issues, him having all emails, they want me to put a note in the box with my name and address as well as a thoroughly written out explanation of what is wrong with the unit and what needs to be repaired... 🤦♂️ Ummm you have ALL THE INFO in the EMAILS...
I also have to pay for shipping as well ( not sure if I have to pay for tech repair, prob do since I’m out of warm warranty )
I got a extended warranty From sam ash, wondering if they will replace the unit all together ...

Hey Chase, I believe we've spoken before at some point. sorry to hear that's what's become of the knowledgeable support since my departure... I guess all good things come to an end. Hope you are doing well otherwise though, stay in touch.

I never understood how a US or EU distributor could exist without a great tech, it always scared the crap out of me in my gearpimp days when I realized I was more of a tech than anybody at the distributor!

I’m doing good man, and hope all is well with you! Hope you get the house fixed up the way you like and get settled back in.. thank you, Chase. I'm doing well and hope you are as well. I'm nearly done on the house. It did take a good bit longer than I expected but I am slowed down by my own OCD and perfectionism... and in wanting to do everything myself, including all cabinetry and plumbing and everything else. It's just about there though. that's what I feared, and that's how things go I guess. There was a certain level of personal support, interaction, and just old fashioned product evangelism/pride (and yes, my OCD and perfectionism) that I tried to bring to more than one different former companies now, that probably really didn't survive beyond my time there... but, I'm still here and still have the same audio obsession. As soon as I get done on the home, I'll be turning my attention to some new ventures that are developing in pro audio land and I hope we talk some more when that happens... Some things that I'm really excited about, but just can't talk about just yet. Stay tuned.

Thank you. Well, all things happen for a reason... I'm back where I should be, that's for sure... in my home town of Baton Rouge. and some good opportunities are beginning to come together here that I'll be able to talk more about in the near future.
