I wondered what you guys with the originals / quality clones think? I love what this does to the acoustic guitar (starts about 4:50). Rest ain't too shabby either.. am I being a dumbass?
PS in contrast I didn't dig the 3A at all ... (also on YT)

PS in contrast I didn't dig the 3A at all ... (also on YT) Man idk. I personally didn't prefer the compressed signal to the dry on anything except one of the drum loops. Kinda surprised actually. I mean who knows, it's a video, but based on that particular video I wouldn't jump, I like cla-2a plugin better then that. The compression was always noticeable and not in a good way. Perhaps he just repeatedly chose material that didn't suit the compressor.

Perhaps he just repeatedly chose material that didn't suit the compressor. It's got it's own sound alright. Maybe needs a mix knob? I liked the sparkly spangly acoustic guitar effect. Would the real deal or a good clone do this a lot better?

Just based on an unreliable youtube video, it sounds like it would be useful to a project studio but I doubt it has many pro applications. It sounds useful but doesn't sound like either my real LA2As or my Stam SA2a

I think it sounds decent. It doesn't seem to add the meat the way my Stam does though.
