Hey, working on a new tune "she said, she said", so far rearranging a bunch of files I imported from song memos. One recorded new vocal. The files and session plays fine and logic seems to bounce but the mp3 is either silent or just plays parts of the tracks ? I have the original files muted and am only trying to bounce the files I cut and pasted. I see signal in tracks fine but not while bouncing. The leader line turns a blue colour while bouncing ? Any ideas what I am doing wrong ? thx.

Are you bouncing off-line? Why is "My idea 32:35" highlighted? Might that have something to do with it?

I've been in Logic for about ten years and don't think I've ever seen a blue bar - wild. I've had a couple issues of late where I get no audio, and end up just quitting and restarting - never figured out of it was a UAD thing or a Logic thing, but the end result was things worked normally.
Only thing I saw looking at the screen grab - doesn't the Output channel usually say something like "stereo out" "output 9-10" at the top of the channel? I only see the little icon for it being a stereo track. Im away from the studio so I'm probably mis-remembering, but just what I observed.
Random other note - the blue matches the blue at the top nav that appears to be your output level. That might suggest something interface related, but I'm probably reaching.

Haven't got it figured out yet but I think this is weird too ? I am able to record and do everything else

Latley I had some issues like this with UAD and I was just too annoyed to do the support thing with UAD.
My advise:
Switch of the Computer and restart and do a P-RAM reset. Hold down cmd + alt + p + r while booting.
Make sure all other software is quit, open logic and bounce to the desktop... helps?
Good luck...

It takes a few minutes and you get exactly the same session just in a new file save as _new and work on. BTW back up is my second name i back up everything two times...

Got it, I had earlier tried to set up tap tempo and had left the record settings synch mode set to manual, that was what the blue line meant. anyway I reset that to internal and all good now thx !

Try the bounce in real time, you'll get to hear exactly what happens.

I am/was bouncing in real time That is why I knew something wasn't right, as files I had just heard in the session , were not souding in the bounce I'm observant that way p.s. here is what I was working on: initial arrangement idea working from a new poem and song , started capturing in song memos, now developing in logic: "she said, she said" soundcloud.com/kcatthedog/she-said-she-said-11
