i just saw that soundtoys plug ins are 1/2 off at the moment. figured I would spread the word. Im thinking about picking up the devil loc and radiator. anyone using either of these? for 59$ each I guess its worth a shot. Echoboy is life.

Microshift gets used on every mix of mine. I know a lot of people here love devil loc on bass.

I use both and they're great. The radiator is a subtle warmth/saturation. The devil loc is awesome for adding gritty distortion, I like it better than the decapitator most times. Great for vox, bass, nasty drum loops and a host of other things.

I bought the bundle at full price years ago and found that I was really only using echoboy. sold it and bought echoboy alone on sale. Now im thinking of the two I mentioned as more usable in the arsenal. Also they were not in the original bundle I bought so I haven't tried them yet.

Radiator and devil loc over decapitator here too. 9/10 x's. As cool as the radiator is in its own right, it barely sounds like my 1567a mixer or some 1588b transformer's driven to distortion. Some of my favorite distortion colors EVER.

I picked up the Bundle second-hand a couple of weeks ago and have made good use of EchoBoy, Decapitator, Crystallizer, Sie-Q, and Devil-Loc Deluxe so far. After having used this stuff for a bit, the hype is earned, IMHO. Even at full price, I think the Bundle would have been worth it.

I bought the complete bundle last summer for 250$ (you can find it often on e*** for that price). on "normal" mixes I use decapitator, echo boy, radiator, microshift and primal tap quite often. devil loc deluxe is really great when you need that particular "effect" (something that comes to mind is mad lib's drums on YNQ albums..) Only gripe I have with devil loc is that, in its default state, raises the level of the track in a way that it's very annoying to me. I wish they would add a gain trim knob after the mix knob.
I know it's more expensive but I'd go with decapitator instead of radiator.
