Go with God James Cotton. Only you could hold a candle to Little Walter. You were such a gracious and kind man, such a colorblind example to all musicians. It was such an honor meeting you, even more hanging out with you and getting to know you many years ago.

Saw him with Muddy Waters at Carnegie Hall in '65 for the New York Folk Festival "evolution of funk" blues concert. Unforgettable. RIP.....

Saw him live in the late '60's. Galvanizingly good. Same. The Cave, Cleveland, 1969. Haven't forgotten that show. RIP, James.
