1.? 2.? 3.? 4.? 5.?
I am not 100% in the box. I am trying to go into the box. I need some effects.
Waves UAD Exponential Audio FabFilter
The deals are killing me, now is a good time to get some plugs. I only have until midnight, can you help a brother out. I have a bunch of UAD already, but sold my Apollo. Time to get serious about in the box.

You should demo Slates VCC and VBC its at least the plug ins which fascinated me a lot and reminded me a lot to my real gear. Special VBC is killer on the mix bus....

I'm looking at the Waves Platinum. What do you y'all think?

I have stock ProTools and Stock Studio One 3. Im not very impressed at all! The UAD verbs destroy the others. However my outboard Destroys the Verb Plugs.

I can get close in the box, but I'm still not happy with my ITB work. I did better work on a Soundcraft Ghost with an Alesis HD24, seriously. I am really trying to go all ITB, but my ears are having a hard time because I'm so used to the sound of the console and outboard.

I'm looking at the Waves Platinum. What do you y'all think? Not for me. I'd personally grab the FabFilter stuff way ahead of the Waves Platinum.

Another question. Can you track with a plugin verb on? I used to own an Apollo, it was nice to be able to use plugs without latency, can you do that with Native plugs?

I would not go with Waves in the long run. You have many other options.

I don't use plugs much but I use renaissance bass and melodyne all the time. I also use SSL eq and compressor plugs too.

Jupp the ssl eqs are workhorses over the years I got them by Waves, Native Instruments and at last by Slate becausevt they are in the the everything bundle. They all sound great. For the compression part I think Klanghelm Slate UAD and Waves can be great tools. The Klanghelm was the first digital compressor which was wow from first scond on.
If I would start mew I would buy the slate everything bundle the Klanghelm. There a few great freebees which make live easier. The rest would be stock daw plug ins...
The annual plan by slate is a no brainer because they work hard for new plugs. And they update thier algos which is great.

guitfiddlerI forgot also to mention the Softtube CL1B thats also dammm close to rhe real hw. Use something like slates vcc, it helps to glue the mix together and you need lesser processing. Normal plugs dont impress me longer than a week, but vcc is working for 4 weeks now.... have not touched the console since than....

I try not to buy 3rd party plugs at all, to limit incompatibility issues in the future, so most of what I use is native DP plugs. I do use Stillwell Major Tom quite a bit though.
