Has anybody bought the Heritage Audio OST-10 and, if so, what's your opinion on it? I had considered picking up a Lindell 510 because the price ($399) is really cheap but then I'm inclined to think you're likely getting what you pay for (cheap parts, internal switching psu, etc.).
I suppose the main debate for me comes down to getting a second rack with a linear psu like the one in with my BAE rack or going for something a little cheaper like the Heritage which, though it's psu is external, is still a switching psu (as I understand it). Apparently the Heritage has additional filtering/regulation inside the rack but I don't know to what extent that is truly making a difference or not.
Any thoughts? I'm also open to other 10 or 11 space options in the same price range ($699) as the Heritage. Maybe some Black Friday deal I'm unaware of?

I have a Heritage OST-4 that's been great. I actually ordered an OST-10 thinking I was going to sell some pres and go much more into 500 series land but by the time it showed up I had changed my mind and returned it.
But anyway, the OST-4 is great.

That is a good question. I never opened my OST-10 so I don't actually know.

The 10 space screw holes are aluminum with a helicoil and will strip ( the 6 has steel inserts) (the heritage is steel) and it would not power all 10 of my heritage modules when I turn phantom power on

You've confirmed my fears on the Lindell 510.

Unit works fine, but screwing in the modules isn't right.

So can anybody speak on specifics concerning the psu in the OST-10? How might it compare to a linear psu like the one with my BAE?

My move when I've outgrown my 6 space API Lunchbox will definitely be to build one of Jeff's. They look pretty badass.

We have two of Jeff's Capi VPR 11 space racks and a dual VPR floor mount linear power supply. If you can DIY then it's a no brainer.
