Ok post a few vids once I leave from the whole thing. I've heard the name Jack Pearson forever. I had no idea what I was missing.

saw him in a show called Gregg Allman All My Friends. I had no idea who he was. I remember he played slide. he was so incredible, that I googled to find out who he was. he's so good, that you really have to hear him to really understand. words fail in something so sublime. words only hint at the majesty, the magnificence, the beauty.

I dig how effortless Jack makes it look. A player's player.

Not to take any light from Jack Pearson, but here's a video I enjoyed.
The 60's English pop musicians' fascination with sitars begat this young lady's cover 50 years later. She's got a great swing to her playing.

Things get real classy at 6:15 Funny do those improvised open airs still exist? A band is jamming over a cadence people have fun - may smoke some pot- and everybody is easy. I miss it its happening very seldom in my area today.

Quality ... never heard of him but, I've probably heard him ... been lucky enough to catch a lot of the greats live, wonder who the legends will be in 20 years time? It's ok if you've got Les Paul's genes and still gigging at 90 ......

Not very well - takes forever to load, then there's popup ads that make it reset, then afterwards it gets to 0:18 and bounces back to zero.

Worked fine for me Johnkenn on mobile iOS Scrolling through your photobucket is so cool but the ads and how photo bucket is set up is so cumbersome

Gives lessons in town. FWIW. THAT is the state of this business. And maybe part of the reason there's so many fine guitar players in Nashville. The bar is high but the road is wide and well marked.
