I agree with many people here. I think this company's talents would be tremendously useful on an SSL style EQ for around the $1000 range. That would be life changing. Yes please ! the black series would be great. I had the new silver 9K one and sold it. It was quite hard and unmusical sounding. The waves SSL eq sounding better than my HW one. Also a neve styled recallable eq would be most welcomed ! I would alos suggest that they bring out some variations on their 1176 such as a blue tripe and black faced version. From the demos of the 1176 it did have a different tone to it.

From the demos of the 1176 it did have a different tone to it. Bettermaker has some total recall eqs that look pretty sweet. I think you can get one for about $800. Pretty pricey but serious value for the dollar. I imagine these companies will continue to push the envelope as they have with these products.

I have the Bettermaker EQ502P the pultec one that I use on the mix bus. It is also pretty cool to use via the plug in. Sounds quite transparent and clean but not sterile. Price is not bad at all for the control and it is analogue I would like to see a full channel EQ in one unit if possible.
