While the goal was to reproduce the recorded ambience of David Bowie's vocal on "Heroes", what the plugin does is offer the ambience of Berlin's Hansa large room with adjustable distance and panning mics with any source.
I haven't demo'd this plug yet, but I'm already a big fan of UAD's Oceanway plugin. I would love to see more successfully digitally captured acoustic spaces we all could access for our own recordings.
The tools are awesome today. The trick is to engineer like the pro's. Or for an artist, let a pro do it.
