Seems to be a fairly well known problem but without a definitive solution. Just updated to a late 2013 iMac running Yosemite. Right click was working but then mysteriously ceased. 'Right Click' is enabled in mouse preferences. Same problem with two Magic mice on the 'new' iMac. Both Magic mice work fine on our old 2008 iMac running Mavericks. My $25 Logitech wireless mouse works fine on both computers. Have been through the Apple forums and tried all the 'usual fixes' such as turning Right Click functionality off in preferences, rebooting and turning right click back on - No Go. I also tried deleting the Bluetooth preferences file in Users/Library/Preferences and rebooted - No Go. Some seem to have success but not me! Some have suggested an OS reinstall maybe the only solution which sounds like the typical Windows solution when something didn't work. If I do a reinstall it will be Mavericks as it seems both Yosemite and El Capitan are the most prone to these Magic Mouse issues. Alternatively I'll ditch both Magic Mice and buy a Logitech but before I do if anyone has a solution.... ?
