I've used it and it saved my butt when I had 2 drives die within 2 days. It's easy and seems unobtrusive.
The thing that sucks about it is if you have to retrieve a backup you get it in a compressed zip format. That in itself is not bad, but all the dates on your files are reset to the date you retrieve the backup.
I use the dates on files to search all the time or if I mislabeled a file or was just plain lazy and it really is a major hassle for me. So much so that I beefed up my backups so I have on-site and off-site backups plus Backblaze.
Beyond Compare is great and along with Backblaze I have piece of mind that I won't get hit too hard with another drive or two failing.
