Well that reverb is what I was mainly talking about, but the high end lift it has simply HAS to be artificial considering that he's off-axis and about a foot back from the mic. There is no way it's picking up that much high end positioned like that.

I've heard those A440's and they're nice and smooth, but dark. There's no way they got that much high end out of it without some kind of serious EQ.

yeah, dudes voice is killer. i had about 10 minutes with this mic which isn't a lot, i know, but it doesn't seem like there's THAT much high end lift. thought it was pretty close to what i heard, but who knows, it's been a while.
