Hey, I was wondering if anybody who has experience with an Apogee Symphony I/O could offer some advice/insight on what the settings in Maestro should be on the input and output.

Really depends on your setup. I found maestro to be really confusing... NoFilterChuck, you have any insight?

its osx 10.8.5 pro tools 12.4. looks like anywhere between -14 and -20 in maesto 2 input/output. probably just go with -16.

cademan7 are you talking about the routing page or the input/output tabs? The input/Output pages just let you see the meters per channel as well as set trims/signal level (-10/+4) The routing pages control where the hardware inputs appear inside your DAW, and where the software outputs in your daw appear on the hardware. it's pretty straightforward. the only confusing part is using the Low Latency Mixer. You need to set Software output 1-2 to be routed to "Mixer 1-2" (or 3-4) and then on the Mixer page, that's where you control the volume of your System's output relative to all of the Analog Input level, which are routed directly to the analog output. The signal level settings are supposed to be set to whatever level device you're plugging into them. For the inputs, if you're plugging in a device that spits out a +4dBu signal as the max signal level and you want it to show up as -12dbFS in the daw, set the input channel's digital reference to -12. if you want that analog signal to show up as -18dbFS, then that's what you set the digital reference to. The output page is similarly configured. If you're plugging the outputs of the symphony into a -10 amp or a +4dBu speaker, set the outputs accordingly.

-16 on both is what I do. Can't go wrong.
