So what has more tubes etc. than the WA-EQP ? A Fairchild, la2a or 3a clone ? I'm curious to see what Warm announces at NAMM ?

You know what would be great? A CL1-WA. Although I'd be pretty happy with a WA2-a as well.

I don't honestly know about price but I think you can have a sense of that just by looking at the pricing of current Warm offerings.

Tony Tony Tony... look at this, and compare it to the parts requirements, let alone labor involved, in recreating an 1176. It can't be as cheap as $599, can it? Maybe $799.

P.S. This isn't the original Teletronix schematic. In the actually acronym UREI, the 'I' stands for INDUSTRIES (with the R)... plus, it didn't originate 20th July 2003. Nor was it originally made for 220V AC. This is a reproduction, but it gives you the general idea.

TB12 = $599 WA76 = $599 EQP-WA = $699 Wa2a (?) = $? I'm expecting $799, which would still be one heck of a deal... that is, IF it's a WA2a

I was informed by a local dealer close to six months ago that the next Warm Audio product to be released would include the acronym of a major US city in its name, or at least be based upon a particular piece of audio gear that uses 'said' acronym. I cannot say anymore or I may get a visit from 'black helicopters'.
