Thats the compact model, which is usually $399. Still a good deal. But I would want the bigger one with the scribble strips.

And you also used the "B word"> there's no need for that kind of language around here. Some people might think that is worthy of an infraction!

And you also used the "B word"> there's no need for that kind of language around here. Some people might think that is worthy of an infraction! It's funny my live rig consists of 5 behringer power amps inuke 6000's and inuke 3000's I replaced yamaha, pevey, crown, power amps with the behringer amps as the others failed. I have not had a single issue with behringer they sound on par with the other amps but have simply been lighter and more reliable. My mixer is the Behringer xair 18 R which is awesome it replaced a mackie 1608 and before that an old Mackie 24 channel analog mixer the xair kills the mackie for functionality and I think sounds slightly better. Cannot say anything about their warranty because I have never had to use it. Rejecting behringer because it's cheap is very foolish IMO. Don't have any B stuff in my studio altho I like the look of the x-touch.

Has any one tried the x-touch with logic X? Kind of interested in this setup.

Built like a tank. Looks really nice and professional with its impressive, but not over the top light-show. Works great with Logic right out of the box, instantly locking in with whatever project you have open. I don't think I would consider it with any other DAW because I'm a techno-klutz and I've been reading about how it needs to be mapped with just about every other system out there. Clearly it was developed on a Mac. As far as function is concerned, I've only been using it for two days, and it's already a game-changer in terms of work-flow. My mouse is on my left so I have the unit on my right and already I'm doing half of what I did with the mouse with the X-touch. Its gone wonky on me a few times, but I'm pretty sure when that happens it's been my fault - touching something I'm not suppose to.. Like I'll grab a fader and it seems to be linked with a different fader on a different track. I look at the screen and that track's fader doesn't seem linked, but maybe it was highlighted... I dunno.. Like I said, I'd be surprised if it's not a dumb user error. No big deal, I just turn if off and back on and I'm instantly back in bussiness
PM me if you have any questions.

I dont reject behringer cause they are cheap I reject behringer cause they make cheap shit that breaks too easily. Just today (today mind you) I had intermittent signal loss in one of my audio channels. Cheap insert cable? Nope. Line from 192 to patchbay? Nope. Cheap snake line from patchbay to board? Nope. Cheap snake line from board to patchbay? Nope. Line from patchbay to 192? Nope. Behringer balanced patchbay? Yep. Only took 3 hours (on and off) to find that out. Im not even sure what exactly isnt working in there but when I tried another channel all was good. I have 24 seperate cables going into that patchbay. I might have to undo them all to fix the dead channel (and its channel 3 so no fun) Do I wish I bought a different patchbay? Yep. My patchbays are the only product by Behringer I have anymore. I sold the other junk cause I was sick of shit just like this happening. It would be nice if their control surface gets its stability issues working. Seems like a nice piece. But I definitely wouldn't count on it lasting forever.

Many reject Behringer because it was the Napster equivalent of gear, poor knock offs of other's designs and hard work. They never lost a lawsuit because they always settled. I mean they did such a great job of copying Aphex that the PCB said Aphex!

Thats crazy. I actually said nice stuff about their patchbays. At the time they worked good. Now im wo ndering if any of my signals are effected by them. I was wrong it isnt 24 lines its 48 X 3 = 144. Thats 144 lines running through a Behringer product. That makes me nervous
