I have a question for other HD Native users. How many channels of I/O do you have and what interface do you have?

Here is a screen shot from back in July. It says we should be able to get 64 I/O. It has said that for years. Now I am getting locked out to 32.

ya see, this is another example of Avid shooting itself in the foot, you're paying for HD, and they're throwing arbitrary limits on you trying to extort you into their hardware, what total horseshit, your can buy logic for $200 and shoehorn as many tracks as you can fit!... dumbasses, and to think i was feeling pretty good about this PT12.4 software.

I've got 16 from a BLA XB Moded Avid 16x16 analog interface Wow, cool man, I came dangerously close to buying a pair of these, but after Avid tried to gouge another $1,400 out of me for HD software i went another, much longer route that will hopefully sound just as good for about 1/3 the cost. How do you feel about the sound your getting from that rig? i imagine it's bananas?

I am so tired of dealing with AVID. I just spoke to another engineer this weekend and was telling him my issue. He told me he had 2 versions of HD Native that would run the 64 I/O. He said he upgraded one to 12 recently and it broke it so he can only use 32 I/O. He still has one license that works with all 64 I/O.
Very frustrating stuff.
