Thanks Wiz,
People have different ways of working and I'm trying to find something satisfactory that will cover most of those ways. I'm not pushing people toward subscriptions (I know some companies do that). A permanent license is just that--permanent. The plugins are exactly the same as either subscription or permanent. The only difference is the time-limited nature of the subscription.

The only difference is the time-limited nature of the subscription. Well, I for one reckon its fabulous. I really like the idea for a few reasons. Mainly, that I wouldnt have to pony up for the full price of the plug in, which I have had to do on a few times for something I might only use one every year or two, or for a particular mix job. Also, its a great way to demo now, and in 6 months time if your system wasn't playing well for some reason. cool stuff cheers Wiz |

I like it...wish you could break them out cheaper, but that might be competing against people buying the plugs.

Make the rental rate cheaper, with this you reach even young customers with a small income. The day the people have reached the full price plus 5% intrest p.a. they get the full license. With this you get 5% extra each year thats way more what any Bank will give you today. |
