There is part of me that thinks Lindell gets enough advertising in Gearslutz...I'm sure there's info there about it.

It surprises me that Lindell has said almost nothing about his Paul Wolf designed module . It surprises me how little Slate has said about his Paul Wolf designed monitor controller announced at AES other than it was coming out in November... And now it's February... but then again... It's slate. That's slate!

When it comes to swappable DOA, the first versions with greenish front panels were not swappable. The second versions with the goldish front panels were.

That's the version I have; goldish. I didn't know there was an earlier version. Thanks for the additional information, Seth. The Lindell 500 series, when they first came out, are what convinced me to go the 500 route, as opposed to Seventh Circle Audio, which I had also been looking at. The price to get into two API-style preamps with the lunchbox was really good. Now, I have a couple more units in my six-slot that have definitely upped the level of my mixes. I guess this is what gear addiction looks like! Ears = Happy, Wallet = Empty.
