I want to install video cameras and monitors in 2 tracking rooms and in my control room. One of the rooms is upstairs and I want musicians to be able to see each other. Any suggestions?

Won't both of those options have latency that will make things like cueing and things you need visuals for be a mess?

I ordered the suggested camera.
There are CAT-6 cables in the walls between the rooms.
Is there a way to use the CAT-6 cables as HDMI from the camera to the monitor?

The problem is you need send and returns in each room for camera and TV’s. And then a way to mix multiple inputs so you can see all the other rooms at the same time like a zoom meeting. Unfortunately zoom and other computerized and Wi-Fi stuff has latency. Also you probably need a cat6 wire for each room send and return, along with HDMI splitters and extender transmitters and receivers. I don’t know what your budget is, but it can go into many thousands pretty quick if you are serious about quality, zero latency, and running long runs between each room. If that’s ok, then it can be done.
Ways to lower cost might be skipping the Ethernet stuff and putting screens and cameras 40 feet or less between all of them, and run HDMI wire directly through the walls so that it’s not far of a journey. Will take some serious thought if it’s even possible. You’ll still need HDMI splitters in each room to send the camera info to the other rooms, and HDMI cable in the wall for each. For viewing each room you can either plug into the TV HDMI ports, HDMI 1, HDMI 2 etc. but then you have to change the input and only see one room at a time unless you have a security type mode that shows multiple inputs at once. Since that mode shrinks screen space anyway, you might want to just get cheaper/smaller screens and get one for each signal being received. .. ie, if each room you want to see 2 rooms, use 2 TVs in each room. Staying Latency free and cheap is not easy these days. You might be able to find some old used hard wired (SDI) video equipment or security gear that you can run wire through walls and get it all working for super cheap? I hope this helps you brainstorm your solution
Edit: another thing to consider, a lot of cheap TVs are using digital chips and firmware, I don’t know what kind of latency that might add if any. So you may want to start one tv/camera at a time and test for latency

I'm halfway through mixing four concerts this weekend, big band jazz standards with the band on the floor and vocalists on stage. Have used the same conductor monitor rig for these situations for the past four years; Cheapest Sony handi-cam at Best Buy, has a mini-HDMI to full size cable included, plugged into... $30 Amazon HDMI to ethernet converter, taped to the leg of the Sony tripod, they each have a little switching PSU... 100' or more of ethernet plugged into the matching ethernet to HDMI converter at the other end, which gets it's power from the sending unit... HDMI cable to any monitor/TV with an Input. I set it up so the conductor can see there's no latency before moving the monitor into position. Use the same rig plus a splitter when we need a conductor monitor for backstage singers as well, and a duplicate rig running the opposite direction when we need a stage view monitor for the pit. Have used both camera/converter rigs to feed a cheap ATEP video mixer for live streaming, but I can't vouch for the latency there as it wasn't a factor.

Well I bought Svart's recommended camera and HDMI to CAT6 converters Seeing I only need one camera from the analog control room to the tracking room and already have all the Cat6 lines in all the walls.
If all goes well, I just get another converter to go from the Daw control room to the tracking room and use the same camera. It's a cheap enough setup. Both control rooms don't use the tracking room at the same time.
I 'm going to hook it up and give it a try. Happy 4th

There are a bunch of baulms out there that will do it, just remember these things are not designed for speed mostly as trouble shooters and for CCTV so there will be latency. If I hadn’t been stuck in the elevator earlier today I would have suggested an old fashion Analog CCTV cam and monitor for latency.
