Hey while we're at it...someone post files and let's bounce a mix(no plug ins or anything) with different DAWs and see if they null 🤔 I’ll participate, but only if I get to be the guy who points out everyone was probably using different pan laws.

The thing that makes the concept of the video in the OP weird to me is what I’m guessing seawell is getting at: I literally haven’t heard anyone make the argument in question (that simple, completely clean OTB summing sounds substantially different than ITB summing) in like 10-15 years! I do remember when lots of people thought that, and I remember when the consensus shifted to it being all the extra things in the signal path that made the difference, rather than the wire. I was unaware there were still lots of people arguing about that.

It reminds me of when someone is searching a particular piece of gear on a forum. Comes in hot with some thoughts...then realizes they are replying to a post from 2003 😂. I've seen that more than once.

I've seen that more than once. Or the guy who comes in hot for a particular piece asking for advice and everyone explains it won’t do what he wants then gets pissed at everybody, he goes and buys finds out they were all right and gets even angrier.

Oh yeah...one of those "hey guys tell me what I want to hear..or else" posts 😂 Here is a dirty little gearpimp secret, these guys are why dealers official policy is “all sales are final” it means I can take it back, but if you think your smarter than me, I put language on the invoice that states “ returns will only be excepted if item is defective” or “ a 110% restocking fee will be charged.” Last one went any video projectors sold during the NFL playoffs. Sure we will take it back but, we get the merchandise, keep your money plus 10%! If you wonder why just go to Best Buy or Nebraska Furniture Mart the week after the Super Bowl and look at all the big TVs that were returned.
