If downloading and installing this is the typical Arturia experience, I'll pass on purchasing and products in the future. I registered, downloaded their installer and the license isn't there. When I go to products Mello-fi doesn't even exist for download. 20 minutes wasted.

I think their servers may be under high demand someone else said same at UA forum.

It took almost an hour for my license to show up! But it will.
So this is pretty cool. Plugin Alliance just released Neold Warble, and it's expensive, this one looks very similar for free.
I just used it on a saxophone track for a tiny bit of color and I must say it did just fine.
Also on track were a demo of Capitol Chambers (I like!) and the UAD API Vision channel that I just bought for $20, which is wonderful.
Sounds like a record but it's just one track haha. I haven't done any arrangement/overdubs yet.

gee thx for reminding me I can get api vision for $19, not that I really want it but hard to say no ! It's really good. I think it will replace the 550A/560 EQ's for me since it's just "More" more stuff, compression, saturation, filters, whatever, more EQ points. UAD API EQ has been a top shelf plugin for a long time for me, this is the next step up, so it makes a lot of sense and I will actually use it.

If you went into your account for the download, I think we just have to wait until license is deposited in Centre?

I got both previous Neold plugins for €49 in a sale. It pays to wait and watch...

Same here. Only took 10 hours. I suppose I shouldn't complain; after all it's free, but I felt like I was jumping through hoops and sucking time there for a while.

You all must have been clogging up the pipes yesterday, I clicked the button to get the free license and it literally appeared instantly in my account! Thanks for the head's up.

Cool plugin!
I'm not a plugin-gatherer. I like capability more than squint mode "this is slightly better than this" stuff.
BUT I'm always down to get a plugin that gives me something unique that I don't have. This does some stuff that I don't have in my arsenal yet. I dig the adjustable tape crunch. I dig the flutter/wow. I dig the slowdown. Super cool!
The authorize/install process didn't work as well as it did for the Juno plugin they gave out a few months back (which is super awesome...I'd have paid $100 for it knowing what it sounds like now):
I installed the Arturia downloader/assistant/licensing ASC thing. Clicked on the "Download now for free." That put the activation into my account. Some hours later it showed up in my ASC. I clicked Activate. Waited for the "install" to pop up in ASC...it didn't. So I went back to the page for the plugin and went to the "resources" section and dowloaded the installer. Ran it. The plugin recognized the registration as soon as I instantiated it in my DAW.
Seemed like a hassle at the time. Knowing how cool this plugin (and how it's saved me from having to make this sort of effect by hand for this song I'm mixing currently) is makes me forget the hassle and enjoy the result.
