Nope but I have a pair of Neve Shelford's and I don't really feel the need to ever replace them. If you can't make incredible high fidelity sounding records with a Shelford then just give up LOL..
As for resale value mine cost $4K each and recently I saw some on e-bay going for around $3650.00, that's converted currency of course because I'm not in the US. As for ease of use, it's very hard to make a Shelford sound bad and it has enough stuff packed into it not to be left wanting. For example I also have a 6176 but the EQ section is too limiting, the pre-amp picky about sources and the 1176 isn't quite as versatile in terms of holistic effect as the bridge diode in the strip. For sure a 1176 is quicker but it can still limit pretty well..
There's no real need to have the 6176 besides it offers a different flavour as such, although I'd go for the Shelford every time if that was my only option and be no worse off for it.

I own the Chandler TG2, their TG12345 EQ, and their Opto Comp. I have two channels of each. Basically, a stereo pair of what’s very similar to the Microphone Cassette.
I also own two RND 511’s, 4 channels of the RND 551 EQs, and 4 channels of the RND 535 Diode Bridge. (Added up, this is VERY similar to a pair of Shelford Channels plus two extra EQ’s and Comps).
Hands down, I highly recommend you getting the Shelford Channel. If I were starting over or I was forced to sell one or the other, these Shelford-esque 500 series units are the ones I would keep. 100%.
PS: You could also try the Heritage Audio Brit Strip

Damn the price increase on the Portico line is brutal. Guess I won't be getting a Master Buss Processor any time soon...

Personally I'd wait until things settle and then weigh up your options.. I got tired of the trade and upgrade cycle, in the end it just cost me more money and frustration.

You could own 46 Behringer preamps for that.

Hell, you could own a lot more than just 46 Behringer Preamp's! The Behringer ART tube pre clone can't be more than 49 dollars, right?

<wipes sweat from brow> Maaaan, feeling pretty lucky with the deal I got on a used MBP six months ago. Really hoping supply shortages don’t create more havoc in the tiny world that is high end audio hardware. Fingers crossed.

Yeah it seems like last year they had a Black Friday deal where they were $3499 new…might have to hold out for a used one

Everything is getting more expensive…inflation, semiconductor shortages, supply chain issues…I just impulse bought a second Gefell umt70 because I’m afraid they’ll go up in price. Idk, the good ol days may be gone. I think certain things will level out, but some things (including used gear) I think will stay more expensive. We’ll see.

Things were getting expensive before Covid became a thing now it's turned into sheer madness, the car I bought a year ago has gone up $10K.
