I personally have been looking at the Heritage HA-609 for a while. I know a number of people who have it here and really like it. There is also a nice thread about Stam's SA609 which is finding it's way to those who ordered it. Here are two videos I found interesting.
The first is between the HA-609 and a vintage 33609.
The second is between the Stam SA609 and AMS-Neve's current 33609.

I'm having sinus issues so my ears aren't 100%. That said the first video was great, I could tell a difference looking away when he was switching between the Neve and Heritage. I liked both for different reasons, but essentially sound close enough to same. The neve sounds like I'd expect vintage to sound, a little slower and sweeter. The neve drums had a bit more sense of authority and control, a great classic tone. The heritage felt like the younger, faster offspring. The attack of the vocals I could really hear the highs jump out on the heritage, giving it more detail and presence. The neve example the vocal sibilant parts didn't exist the same, the top on the neve was very controlled and clamped down. I really liked both, would love to have either.
