as a mixer...I peaked earlier as a songwriter lol. Anyway, I'm sitting here listening to a 6 song project I mixed consisting of Gary Louris from the Jayhawks and Emerson Hart from Tonic. They've never released it - but it is so far down my alley being a kid of the 80s and 90s REM love I just don't know what to do. I've told Emerson I was going to oopsy leave it somewhere and the world would discover it...maybe this place is the somewhere. The bottom end is weird on some of the tunes, but I'm honestly kind've proud of what I did with them... Anyway - there's nothing like being incredibly proud of something you can't release lol.

Wonder if I could post one of the songs here for a moment...and then take it down because no one would ever know?

Don’t feel bad, by prestige of Credits I peaked in about 90 and by income 98-99. Oh the Jayhawks, hung with them and sold there producer some Genelecs when they recorded at SMART and saw them open for Mellencamp in around 99.

I really liked Tonic. I'd almost forgotten about them; I need to re-listen to those songs/albums.

I really liked Tonic. I'd almost forgotten about them; I need to re-listen to those songs/albums. They just came out with a new song a couple weeks ago. Several of those albums were just killer. Emerson Hart has also had some killer solo records. I actually have a song on Beauty In Disrepair

Love the Jayhawks as well. Looks like I’m on the right forum. All of those bands kinda like them are cool. The Replacements, Son Volt, Uncle Tupelo, Golden Smog etc.

One of the times I saw the Jayhawks Tortise were opening for them at Northwestern. I still was wearing glasses and had long curly hair. Several people were pointing and assuming I was Gary Louris. That may have been the peak of my fame...
Anywho, I wish that record could be heard.
