So has anyone caved on this one? I'm a big fan of Al's, especially considering the music I make. I will probably going to grab this. It's kind of like an all in one CLA plugin, but based on how All does things. I didn't see anyone else talking about this, so I figured I'd start a thread on it.

I've been demoing it. Classy. More subtle than the Waves signature stuff, I really dig the vocal, bass and the mix modules. However every time I buy something like this I end up rarely using it.

I demoed it the other day. It wasn't really my thing, but it didn't sound bad or anything. I'm sure someone else would find it useful.

Did the demo and wound up buying it. It's not heavy handed by any means but seemed to have a few nice tricks. Loved the echo and air on vocals.

the echo alone is tempting. Al's use of reverbs has always been the best in the biz.

I'm all for great plugins and would love to achieve some of his sounds, but equally appealing to me is his attention to the presentation and detail of his persona. I want to emulate the class of this guy. Not only Grammy sound, but Grammy-worthy appearance. Well groomed, pulling off a shirt and tie behind the board with ease and grace, great watch, subtly but professionally done...classy sounds, classy guy.

I am demoing them.
It's astounding how good these "made for NOT engineer" plug ins are getting. I mean I could beat the Vocal mode...BUT...not by enough to justify all my years of experience and whatever collective license costs--or forbid the hardware costs that the plugs replaced...I mean, ignoring the reverb, which I did because who is going to use reverb as an insert on the lead vocal, you have Compression, Body, Air (and the air has a 4/8/16 selector)...the drawback is also probably selling point for some--it won't allow really extreme any of that--so I could LITERALLY turn all three up to 100% and it was a solid sound.

While this new plug from leapwing is on sale on their site from $159 to $129 till tomorrow, I Just found if you use the coupon code "group" at the JRR shop to buy it, the price goes down to $99.96 , I Don't know how long that code works for.
