I had been using nvidia graphics in my pc recording computers for years without issues.
Be happy many users report back that the trouble ended when they swapped the cards.

Plus...as I've pointed out--there's a fix. I didn't pay attention to what it was...because I have an AMD...but, it was some driver tweak.
I've always had nVidia cards....at least in the this century. #geritolShot ...until this build. And really--one of the reasons I decided what I did was that Apple abandoned nVidia some years ago--and I fully intended to install OSX on this machine. Which meant intel or AMD. So, I didn't look into it really deeply...

I'm just happy I got it sorted out the way I did. I'm running larger sessions with heavy virtual instruments at very low buffers much further now.
It's not really a "game changer," I was still getting work done. But this will make my life a little bit easier. Just that little boost in performance.

I am just waiting for the next generation of M1s and I will abandon any GPU gone goodbye forever. Watched two tech videos about the M1 and the idea behind it - I think this will be the future code software for a specific CPU. Another plus will be no fans anymore which I will love....
