Heard from a birdie that only Sweetwater and Amazon will carry TC and Behringer. I have heard variations on this for years and I doubt it will go through. First Sweetwater and pretty much everybody else don’t know what to do with an exclusive. Second Sweetwater really isn’t good at selling to the install market where Behringer has seen lots of growth with their Digital Mixers. It’s a very different market from Recording / MI and SW is great at those. Third Music Group has built a pretty good portfolio of Highend touring manufacturers ( Turbosound, Labgroupen, Midas, Lake, TC & KT) the dealers and SR guys who move this stuff need Behringer so they can sell a rig and cut a couple of corners to hit a price point. Fourth Government clients that send stuff out for bid do not like exclusives, and because of price points you see the B-word on lots of bids. What Behringer needs is to buy a Mike / Wireless manufacturer then their rep can walk in with a complete turnkey install or SR rig and offer a great lease like EV did in the 80’s and 90’s.

Well they moved down the road from Starin, I’m surprised I wouldn’t have gone this route, but then neither is paying me so good luck! I hope Chuck gets everything on consignment because Behringer is known for back order hell, I would want enough in my warehouse on their dime so my guys weren’t dealing with the “where is my ... calls that Behringer brings. Nobody ever understood why we kept a list of who wanted what from Behringer rather than taking orders, it had to do with those “it’s been 9 months” calls.
