And this might qualify...all though maybe this is jazz ride.
Btw - I’ve NEVER seen this video before. I was convinced it was lip sincing - because there was no orchestra...then they show the orchestra behind them. Surely this wasn’t THAT flawless of a live performance.

Any John Bonham track from the first 2 LP's. Those cymbals sound amazing. Absolutely, yes. And his ride with rivets on Stairway. Sizzle for days.

I'm not sure this qualifies as a ride, but I always liked the Zildjian Mega Bell Ride that Joey Kramer uses. Just for that bell.

Beautiful example. Gets me wondering what effect is on the drums. A plate with pre delay?

Beautiful example. Gets me wondering what effect is on the drums. A plate with pre delay? Sounds like tape delay on both the drums and vocals. Checking out Wikipedia, it was recorded with no overdubs, so its possible the delay is on the vocal and the drum delay is bleed from that mic. They recorded at Olympic, produced by Denny Cordel. From Wikipedia: "Cordell was concerned that the sound of "A Whiter Shade of Pale" might prove problematic on the radio, due to the prominence of the drummer's cymbals. He therefore sent an acetate copy to Radio London, and his worries were assuaged when the disc jockey played the disc on-air and announced: "That sounds like a massive hit."

I was driving, tuned into the local station and there was a live band I thought local cover band doing a fire benefit. After a few minutes, cranked the stereo “holy shit this sounds really amazing! I’m not turning off the car until I know what band this is and I go see them!”.. at the end the DJ says “The Byrd’s Live at Fillmore 1969.. YOU'RE WELCOME” ... depressing. And mind blowing. anyway, found the recording on YouTube ( no video/better guitar solo), but here’s a video from 1970 Fillmore East showing the mics, still pretty epic

Longest lasting and most proficient version of the Byrds.

Sort of mandatory in 1970! Eight Miles High always was.....

This one is a bit on the thinner side, but I've always appreciated how they just went for it with the ride right up front at the very beginning of the song. (And I love the song, too, which helps. Always reminds me of how much I loved 90s music.)
