This shouldn't be too much of a shock to us, but it's a bummer. I buy very little gear in the grand scheme, but I do really enjoy learning about different products and what sort of new tech is being developed.
I'm guessing much of the new offerings will just be released away from NAMM, but it won't have the same kind of energy.
Ah well, we probably all needed a break anyway.

January NAMM will be terrifying then. Tons of asian folks, and sick american folks, flu season, close proximity - I think you could call it negative social distancing. I won't be going FOR SURE. Maybe NAMM is done until things work out.....

For sure is a bummer.. Mostly due to no cool parties etc. And Bill you are correct this will for sure impact NAMM as a whole until we see a good readily available vaccine. Shit they would need to make it mandatory in my opinion! Get your badge and vaccination at the same time

While KC isn’t LA downtown is really reliant on Convention’s and Sporting events as well as concerts (Sprint Center is one of the 3 busiest arenas and it isn’t home to a Sport team). I’m not sure what the neighborhood will be like after this !

Tracking Room is gone anyhow, so hope you got your souvenir glasses from last year! They'll never be the same again. drbill, January is going to be very different in 2021... I donned a mask before I got on the bus to LAX and kept one on the whole time . . . as it was just coming in then (incoming flights from the continent to our immediate left). And ericn, There are usually a lot more GC 'Dudes' at that one than Summer NAMM. Summer is all pro. I was really looking forward to this year's. <sigh>
