LOL Why do you think I ordered a model 3 4wd long range? The DAW, well that and I figured out that over 8 years I would save $20k in gas oil ect. OK 0-60 in 3.9 sec might have something to do with, well that and the fart noises😎

Funny enough, When I ordered my last few sports cars, I asked NOT to have any stereo installed ~! Since I purchased these cars as a way to relax and unwind from working 1 or 2 months straight on rock sessions, Last thing I needed was to hear more music! I was told, it would be much more $ to remove the stereo, then to just leave it in as supplied? Anyhow, Once I was done with those sessions, a week in the car, driving vigorously on back country roads, and the track where I am a member ("Lime Rock") Would bring me back, and I would be ready to go again.. All the time listening to nothing but the sweet sound of the engine winding out, was all I needed. I'm all for the new electric models, But what about the sound? Since this is what I do for a living, the sound is just as important as the speed of the car! When your head is literally inches from a 12 cylinder engine behind you, revving at 7000 / 8000 rpm it's sublime. The best mix I ever heard. Literally a thing of beauty. My last car was able to achieve 0 - 60 in 4.1 seconds, and I was able to attain 180 mph... Looking forward to 200 mph in the next car, hopefully in the next year or so. But the sound!

Anyhow, Once I was done with those sessions, a week in the car, driving vigorously on back country roads, and the track where I am a member ("Lime Rock") Would bring me back, and I would be ready to go again.. The insane thing is, it is amazing how the lack of engine noise lets you hear so much more of what’s going. It’s like a whole new level of road driver feedback. I’ll miss the whine of the supercharger the AMG had, the throaty sound of the Porsche but I do like the silence, I think you can order electronic engine sounds. Paul go give a S with Ludicrous mode a try, you might like it. Of course It helps when ones building has free charging stations.

Sorry I can't get behind any EV that has a massive toxic and dangerous battery pack that costs $6-10,000 dollars every 6-10 years to replace. Just can't.
Wish auto companies would invest more into hydrogen fuel cell tech instead.

Eric, I haven't seen a charging station anywhere where I live... Nor have I heard anyone talking about one in the area? So at least for the time being, it's the Ferrari, and maybe a used Zonda if I can swing it???

Until I downloaded the 3 different charging station vendor apps on my phone & asked my building manager about installing a charging station I didn’t know about all of the stations around me. I found one 3 blocks from my mothers house and one just down the road from my favorite dispensary in OK. Paul the adoption papers are in the mail, sign, and you are the proud new father of a 51 year old😁
